Fruitful Network Development

The instance at the centre of the network. It runs the registry — it resolves every other address — and, like every install, it publishes one standardized contact card.

What it does

The registry is DNS for msn addresses.

Every MiCyte address is a path whose segments only mean something in sequence. Reading them tells you nothing; you resolve them. Fruitful Network Development's instance is the one that answers — it maps an address to a contact card, and a farm to its address.

It is central the way a root nameserver is central: not because it owns the farms, but because it is where lookups agree to start. A farm's records never pass through it. The card is the only thing published, and only by consent.

Today the registry resolves the two farms below inside a single deployment. Listing an independent install over the network is the next thing to build. What works today →
